About Me
The Story So Far
From discovering SMS vulnerabilities at 17 to building a fitness brand at 35. A tech-obsessed kid from Orissa who never stopped building.
Chapter 1
The Tech Geek
Orissa · 2007
"A die hard cell freak and tech geek"
— 2009 interview, describing himself
Born and raised in Orissa, I was the kid who took apart gadgets, stayed up reading tech forums, and saw the mobile internet revolution before most people knew it had started.
At 17, I discovered a critical SMS vulnerability and demonstrated it live on Zee News. That experience taught me something I've carried ever since: technology is most powerful when you share what you know.

The Blogger
2008 · Age 19
Daily visitors, first year, zero budget
At 19, I founded MobileGyaan — one of India's early mobile tech blogs. It started as an SMS group in 2007 and became a full website in August 2008. I built it single-handedly while studying for my CA exams.
No team. No funding. Just a "do not give up" attitude and a genuine love for mobile technology. View the archive ↗

The Ambassador
2012 · Truecaller
"I feel proud to be an official ambassador of a company emerging as the next big thing."
— Truecrew Meetup, 2013
I became Truecaller's first official brand ambassador in India — part of their exclusive Truecrew program with just 18 ambassadors globally. This was in Truecaller's early days, before it became the ubiquitous app it is today. I helped evangelize the product and build early community trust in the Indian market.

The Growth Leader
2013–2024
After my M.Com, I went all-in on startups. I joined MySmartPrice as part of the founding team — five years that took traffic from 0.5M to 22.5M monthly visits (45x) and drove 400% revenue growth.
Then CashKaro (scaled user acquisition 5x), Livpure (210% referral growth), and Omella (~13x ARR growth as Head of Growth Marketing).
Along the way, I also wrote — as Senior Editor at rtCamp (Devil's Workshop) and an Author at Fonearena, covering mobile tech and consumer gadgets.

The Founder
2024 · Bravos
Marathon runner. Fitness enthusiast. Building what I'd use myself.
In July 2024, I founded Bravos — a premium fitness essentials brand for India's modern active consumer. It brings together building great products and fitness — two things I'm deeply passionate about.
I'm a marathon runner. I believe discipline in fitness mirrors discipline in business. Bravos isn't just a company — it's born from my own struggle to find quality, durable fitness gear in India. Everything I build, I'd use myself.
